Shah Rukh Khan, the badshah of bollywood who plays the character of Rizwan Khan in Karan Johar’s upcoming flick ‘My Name Is Khan’ opposite ravishing Kajol,The trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s mega- budget flick ‘My Name is Khan’ will run with James Cameron’s latest flick ‘Avatar’ from this Friday across the country. Fox Star, the company which has bought the distribution rights of the film, intends to release the flick in forty countries (outside India) with 600 prints on February 12 next year.

Here’s some good news for fans awaiting the Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol film My Name Is Khan. The first trailer will be aired on December 16 at 10pm.

Directed by Karan Johar, the film is about Rizwan Khan (played by SRK), who suffers from the Asperger syndrome, a form of autism that affects social interaction abilities.

Shah Rukh Khan will be pairing with Kajol after a gap of eight years. The two stars have always created magic on screen through their seasoned acting and expectations are no different this time. The audiences still remember their sparkling chemistry in Yashraj’s ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ to Karan Johar’s ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’.

Even Karan Johar’s direction has never failed with Shah Rukh Khan. In fact, they have always scorched the silver screen with their masterly work. Just recall the films like ‘Kuchh Kuchh Hota Hai’, ‘Kaal’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’, etc, and you will realize the worth of their working relationship.

“This kind of roadblock has never been done before for a film. About eleven Star India channels including Star Plus, Star One, Star Gold, Channel V and Star Pravah, will telecast a three minute trailer ofthe film ,” says Anupam Vasudev, executive vice-president (marketing), STAR India. This will be across the network’s audience in 70 countries.

“My Name is Khan” tells the story of Rizwan Khan, played be Shahrukh, a Muslim man from Mumbai who suffers from a type of autism. He marries Mandira Khan, played by Kajol, a single mother in San Francisco, but is detained by U.S. authorities at Los Angeles’ airport for ’suspicious behavior’ due to his medical condition.
