edcet 2010 counselling

This is latest update: Edcet 2010 Second Phase of Counseling will be conducted from 25th August 2010. APSCHE announced that there are morethan 10000 seats remain unfilled after First Phase of Counseling. Most of the seats are available in SVU and AU regions. Candidates can see the website mentioned below for the detailed schedule. The list of admitted candidates in Social Studies and English Methodology is announced. Second Phase Counseling will be continued till 28th August in all 28 centers. 14426 seats out of 15581 seats in Social studies are filled so far. In English Methodology, 2017 seats are filled out of total 4442 seats.

Update on DIETCET 2010: The first phase of counseling for DIETCET 2010 Admissions was finished morethan 2 months back. But the authorities are not clarified on the possibility of Second Phase of DIETCET Counseling. It appears DIETCET candidates are in big confusion over this. Please share if any information is available on this issue.

Education Common Entrance Test Counseling will be held from 2nd August to 13 August. Edcet Counseling will be completely in online mode and detailed notification will be relesed soon. 32 helpline centers have been arranged to assist the candidates in entering college options. Osmania UNiversity conducted the examination this year.

Approximate number of seats: 60000 (Sixty thousand)

Apart from these, Minirity B.Ed. Colleges have been allowd to conduct their own counseling. There are about 2900 seats in these colleges. Fee for B.Ed. Course for the academic year 2010-11 also will be decided soon. EDCET is for admissions into teacher training course - B.Ed.in Andhra Pradesh. It is also likely that ICET 2010 Counseling and EDCET 2010 Counseling will be conducted simultanously.
