BSNL shifted JAO exam center from Hyderabad to Chennai, Bengaluru and Bhubaneswar

Candidates from the Andhra pradesh who applied for BSNL’s JAO, junior accounts officers recruitment exam are in trouble due to sudden shifting of exam centers from Hyderabad just a week before the exam. BSNL has shifted the JAO exam centers from Hyderabad to Chennai, Bengaluru and Bhubaneswar. The exam is scheduled to be held on March 14 across the country. BSNL had identified only one city in each state to conduct the exam. Hyderabad the only center in the Andhra Pradesh state, candidates opted for Hyderabad center only. Candidates shocked to get hall tickets allotting them centers in other states. BSNL officials said the centers were shifted as a precautionary measure. “JAO exam is a national-level common exam to be conducted in all the states on one day. If there is any disruption at any center, the entire exam process will be affected,” the BSNL official said. There were also apprehensions due to frequent bandh calls in the last three months in the state.(news source: Deccan chronicle)
