Woods' wife buys island home in Sweden

Faglaro Island, a summer retreat for locals has gained international fame. Elin Nordegren has bought a six bed home at Faglaro Island. Elin Nordegren who has become the second lead in Tiger Woods’s drama, became the owner of Faglaro mansion at Faglaro Island from December 1.

Faglaro Island that would be translated as “Bird Island” is a community of about 140 houses and all but two houses are used during summer. Faglaro is one of those islands that make Stockholm archipelago. Faglaro Island is the biggest borough of the archipelago. The only transport available to reach Faglaro Island is ferryboat and it takes around 45 minutes from Vaxholm to reach the island. Elin Nordegren spent much of her childhood and adolescence in the archipelagic area.

Stenake Johansson, being the chairman of the municipality has confirmed that Elin has bought that house and they are waiting the completion of all necessary documentation. The Residential Association is waiting for the papers. However Johansson did not confirm the rumored price of $2.2 million. Johansson stated that Falglaro mansion is solid and big that was used to be a farm and it can be used through out the year not only for summers as the majority of the homes are used.

After Tiger hinting to have an indistinct depart from golf to save his marriage there are possibilities of the couple to move to Faglaro Island. The rumor is not confirmed by the chairman of the Residence Association of Faglaro Island. Thomas Nordegren radio journalist and father of the aggrieved Elin has given no comments on it and has denied the knowledge of anything else.

Elin Nordegren who is product of a broken family is quite familiar of the problems that children could face in a broken marriage so by all means it seems that Elin is trying to save her children from those bitter experiences that she suffered herself.
