In Andhra Pradesh, the health condition of Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhara Rao who is on fast unto death demanding separate Telangana state has deteriorated on Tuesday.

A team of doctors at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad has said the health condition of the TRS President is becoming critical as he is not taking any solid food for the past 10 days.

NIMS director Dr Prasada Rao has advised him and his family members to break his fast immediately to avoid any further complications.

Though he is being administered saline and other nutritional fluids doctors said prolonged administration of IV fluids may lead to health problems.

Demanding separate Telangana state, he has begun fast unto death on 29th of last month and later admitted in the NIMS hospital.

Meanwhile, the impact of the Telengana agitation has also been felt on Tuesday with the TRS members stalling Assembly proceedings.

AIR Correspondent reports, demanding Andhra Pradesh Government to move a resolution in Assembly for carving out Telangana state, TRS members have stalled Assembly proceedings on Tuesday and the house has been adjourned for the day without transacting any business.

The speaker had to adjourn the house twice earlier when the TRS members thronged the podium seeking a resolution on Telangana immediately by keeping the agenda aside. Displaying placards and shouting slogans in favour of Telangana, 8 TRS members have created uproar in the house.

BJP and CPI members have also joined them at the podium.

The impact of Telangana agitation has also been felt out side the Assembly when BJP and its students’ wing took out protest rallies in Hyderabad and at several other places in the region.

Several groups of people like Students, Lawyers and employees

through out Telangana region continued their agitation seeking separate Telangana State.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister K Rosaiah today has reviewed the Law and Order situation with Home Minister Sabitha Reddy and Director General of Police Girish Kumar.

While the Congress Legislature Party has left the decision on Telangana issue on its high command, the Party leaders and public representatives have been advised by the AICC not to make public statements over the sensitive issue.

On the other hand, section 144 has been clamped in several Districts of the region including Nizamabad, Karimnagar and Warangal while prohibitory orders are enforced in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Meanwhile, security has been tightened through out the region and 9 additional platoons of Rapid Action Force have reached Hyderabad.
