NITIE Mumbai: NITIE Admissions open for 2010
The National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) has declared the PG Admission Programmes 2010-2011 at the www.nitie.in. NITIE offers Post graduate, Management development programs such as, PGDIE, PGDISEM, PGDITM etc and all approved by AICTE. Below are given full details of NITIE Admission 2010.
The National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) was founded by Government of India in 1963. It has own private and public sectors, academic institutions, national research institutes, universities, government organizations, and communities. NITIE offers various Management Development Programs (MDPs), a full-time MBA program, doctoral programs, and many executive education programs in different areas.
NITIE Admission 2010 Details:
NITIE Announces 2010 Admissions to the following programs:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety & Environmental Management (PGDISEM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management (PGDITM)
Important dates:
Date of issue of Brochure/Submission of Online Application Begins: October 5, 2009.
Last Date of Submission of Online Applications: December 10, 2009.
Eligibility & Selection:
Engineering/Technology graduates in any branch with first class (relaxable by 5% in case of SC/ST/PD candidates) with valid CAT score (Common Admission Test conducted by IIMs). Final year Engineering/Technology candidates can also apply before June 20, 2010. Candidates will be called for Group Discussion and personal interview at NITIE.
Note: SC/ST candidates are granted financial assistance as per the scheme of Govt. of India vide letters No. 11016/19/2005.

Candidates can fill the application form ONLINE. For details and instructions, visit NITIE’s Official website. Interested candidates will have to sent Hard copy of the filled-in online application form along with the institute’s copy of challan and copies of relevant certificates, duly signed by the candidate to the address as given below:
Application Fee: Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- in case of SC/ST/PD candidates) and applicable bank charges can be paid in the form of challan (downloadable from NITIE website) in any branch of State Bank of India.
For PGDISEM and PGDITM courses: Some seats are available for industry supported candidates and candidates should also fill in the Sponsorship Form.
