India vs SriLanka 1st ODI in Rajkot, Yuvraj Singh’s finger injury doubtful for the Ind vs SL 1st ODI

Rajkot hosting another match in this season....

Yuvraj Singh's participation in 1st match of the ODI series against Sri Lanka is in doubt after he complained of pain in his little finger on the left hand while fielding during the Twenty20 in Mohali. A final decision will be taken on Monday, the eve of the match in Rajkot. The team management would take a decision on Yuvraj after going through the report submitted by the orthopedic surgeon. Yuvraj was taken to Dr Dinkar Virparia’s clinic late in the evening on Sunday for check-up after the left-hander complained of pain in his finger. Later he was taken to the Rajkot Imaging Centre where an X-ray of his finger was taken. Sri Lanka showed signs of confidence seeping back into the game during the recent Twenty20 series, especially in the batting department. They were denied a 2-0 win by cameo from Yuvraj Singh, but they still will travel to Rajkot for the start of the ODI series with newfound belief that if they play excellent cricket, their best cricket, they can beat India.
