Mohali, Dec 12 (PTI) Celebrating his 28th birthday today, it was Yuvraj Singh's day all the way as he took three crucial Sri Lankan wickets and later smashed a blistering knock on his home ground that eventually helped India beat the visitors.
The Punjab player brought a full house PCA stadium alive when he restricted the islanders claiming three top batsmen -- skipper Kumar Sangakkara, Chinthaka Jayasinghe and Chamara Kapugedera when they were going great guns.
Later, he joined his skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and punished the Lankan attack, raining sixes and fours. He wrapped up his unbeaten innings of 25-ball 60 by hitting a six to guide his side to victory.
As Yuvraj kept up the pressure on the Lankans, the crowd roared by forming the 'Mexican Wave'.
